Tim Flach appearing at DI Expo

SIG: Digital Imaging

I heard about Tim at an Arena seminar and when I read the precis of his talk I thought to myself, this isn’t my cup of tea.

I have no fear in saying that my original reaction was very wrong. Within a short space of time I was spell bound by Tim’s lecture and images.

I just didn’t know how beautiful bats could be, especially when presented “upside down” so that they became childlike in their presentation.

How can just the neck of a horse look so graceful and still portray the power of the horse?

Can a dog portrait be more expressive and captivating than those shown by Tim?

I could tell you the story of the horse photographed whilst racing but then I may spoil a good anecdote or it may be irrelevant as Tim will be talking about his recent work Endangered which I have only seen on his website (http://timflach.com). However this time I shall be looking forward to his talk without reservation and I am confident that I will be suitably stunned at its excellence yet again.
