For the Time Being 08 May to 12 May at The Photographers' Gallery

For the Time Being is a programme of photo performances using the social media platform Snapchat as a way of expanding the gallery experience and continuing TPG’s ongoing exploration of photography and image culture in the digital age. The project is curated by postgraduate students from the Curating Contemporary Art Programme, Royal College of Art, in collaboration with The Photographers’ Gallery.

"A street performer catches a break from the crowds and the harsh midday sun in the middle of Florence. The original photo was taken with a Nikon D90 at 1/4000 sec at 7.1f and ISO 800. I had just stepped out of a shaded courtyard into the street and saw the performer resting on the sidelines. I'm sure hundreds of photos of this person were taken while they were "onstage" but I prefer the unguarded moments."

Creative Eye 2019 Exhibition

Creative Eye 2019 Exhibition attracted a large number of visitors to Wingfield Barns from all over East Anglia.

The Exhibition was highly received by visitors, leaving encouraging comments “Wonderful images – such imagination and skill.” “Lovely exhibition. A super variety of interacting images.” “A wonderful surprise, we stumbled across the exhibition and found it truly captivating, and such a wonderful welcome too.”
